Grace Moberly, 106, of Hammond, passed away at 5:00 a.m., May 22, 2011 in Lincoln Manor Nursing Home, Decatur.

A service to celebrate Grace's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday May 27, 2011 in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hammond Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m. Friday till service time. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at
www.dawson-wikoff.com. Memorials may be made to the Hammond United Methodist Church.

Grace was born October 22, 1904 in rural Hammond, IL the daughter of Maurice and Florence (Ohler) Broyles. She married Jesse Lewis Moberly on February 14, 1924 in Cerro Gordo, IL. He preceded her in death in 1983. She worked as a financial secretary for many years for the State Bank of Hammond. She was a life-long member of the Hammond United Methodist Church. She loved to play the piano and was a gifted musician. She also enjoyed quilting.

Surviving is her daughter: H. Jean McMullen of Deca-tur; grandchildren: Rebecca Rimsky and her husband Kevin of Orlando, FL, Linda McMullen and her husband Bob Koschka of Indianapolis, IN, Lori White and her husband Dave of Sugar Land, TX, Carol Reece and her husband Jim of DeKalb, IL, Sheryl Luchtefeld and her husband Dan of Lexington, KY, Diane Hanson and her husband Kevin of Chipita Park, CO, and James Moberly of Colorado; great- grandchildren: Melissa, Daniel, Mich-ael, Shawn, Dennis and Kelly as well as four great-great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son: Arthur Lowell Moberly and her son-in-law Hugh McMullen.
